Sandwich High School Hockey once again used the power of sport to say thank you, hosting its Annual Military Appreciation Game and honoring the men and women who have served our country.
Held at Gallo with a 6:00 PM puck drop, the matchup against Plymouth North High School brought the community together for an evening rooted in gratitude and respect. Active duty service members and veterans were welcomed with free admission, ensuring those who serve were recognized front and center.
The night served as a reminder that hockey is about more than competition—it’s about community, appreciation, and acknowledging the sacrifices made by military families. From the flags in the rink to the cheers in the stands, the atmosphere reflected deep pride and unity.
