About:
Student-athletes (Cross Country, Boys/Girls Soccer, Golf, Football) from Saugus High School, along with their coaches and local youth groups, recently came together to help unload pumpkins at the Congregational Church in the center.
This hands-on service project gave students an opportunity to support their community, work as a team, and give back in a meaningful way. By volunteering their time and energy, the athletes demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and the importance of helping others.
Events like these highlight how high school athletics go beyond the playing field, allowing student-athletes to make a positive impact and set an example for others in the community. They helped unload the pumpkins from the truck, then helped spread the pumpkins across the side lawn of the church.
