Scituate High School student-athletes have once again demonstrated their commitment to giving back to the community. Partnering with the Scituate Housing Authority (SHA), these dedicated students recently completed another impactful project under the guidance of SHA employee Cullen Sweeney.
As part of their ongoing “Sailors Serving Seniors” initiative, the students designed and built two perennial gardens. These vibrant gardens promise to bring a splash of color and joy to the lives of the senior citizens when they bloom this coming spring.
This project is yet another example of the students’ enthusiasm for making a positive impact on their community. Their dedication not only beautifies the area but also fosters a sense of connection and care between generations.
The “Sailors Serving Seniors” initiative continues to thrive, and these young athletes are already looking forward to their next opportunity to lend a helping hand.
