About:
Throughout October, Scituate High School’s student-athletes, coaches, and fans united to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month through a series of powerful recognition games and fundraisers.
From the volleyball team’s Dig Pink Game to the Pink Out events hosted by the football, soccer, field hockey, and cheer programs, the entire school community showed up in full force — wearing pink, raising funds, and spreading awareness for a cause that touches so many lives.
These efforts benefited the Ellie Fund, a Massachusetts-based organization that provides essential services such as grocery gift cards, transportation, childcare, and prepared meals to breast cancer patients and their families during treatment. Through the Students for Hope initiative, Scituate athletes and supporters helped ease the emotional and financial burdens faced by families fighting breast cancer.
The energy on and off the field reflected true Scituate spirit — compassion, teamwork, and leadership through service. Thank you to all of the athletes, coaches, and fans who participated and made this month of giving back so meaningful.
