The Seekonk Football program proudly stepped up to serve the community by participating in the annual Seekonk Veterans Leaf Rake, a meaningful tradition that supports local veterans.
Student-athletes volunteered their time to help rake leaves and assist veterans with seasonal yard cleanup, offering hands-on support while showing gratitude for those who have served. The event provided an opportunity for players to connect with veterans, listen to their stories, and give back in a simple but impactful way.
Organized each year by Matt Bosh, the Veterans Leaf Rake continues to bring together students, families, and community members around a shared mission of service and appreciation. Seekonk Football’s involvement reflected the program’s strong values of respect, teamwork, and civic responsibility.
By taking part in this annual effort, Seekonk Football demonstrated that representing the Warriors goes beyond Friday night lights—it means honoring veterans and supporting the community whenever needed.
