About:
This season, St. Mary’s Boys Varsity Hockey stepped up to make a difference in the fight against cancer, with the support of their community! On January 20, 2025, the team hosted “Hockey Fights Cancer Night” during their game against Hingham, an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cancer research.
To support this noble cause, St. Mary’s Hockey hosted silent auctions, with proceeds benefiting Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC). Fans also had the opportunity to purchase special HFC shirts and hats at home games and online. All proceeds from these sales went directly to supporting cancer research.
This initiative was a great opportunity to show support for those battling cancer while enjoying an exciting hockey game. The community came together to make a real impact, showing that hockey players, fans, and families can make a difference.
Thank you to everyone who attended the event and contributed to making Hockey Fights Cancer Night a success. Let’s continue to support cancer research and spread awareness, one game at a time.
