The Boston Bruins Foundation is a non-profit that collaborates with charitable organizations that demonstrate a commitment to health and wellness, education and athletics.
They’re always in need of volunteers to help sell 50/50 raffles during home games and this is a great opportunity for the girls to get together to support a great cause.
This past Saturday some of the Varsity Hockey Cheerleaders volunteered for 5 hours and sold over $2,000 in 50/50 raffles. It was a lot of fun and they even made it onto the Jumbotron!
I always stress the importance of community service to the team and I’m so proud of how willing they are to get involved to give back.
