About:
On January 3rd, all 12 teams united to show their support for Stoughton High School’s boys basketball coach, Evan Taylor, who is currently battling lymphoma. The teams wore “Taylor Tough” warmup shirts before their games, symbolizing solidarity and strength in his fight.
In the photo, you can see the Stoughton Black Knights and Mansfield teams, proudly wearing their “Taylor Tough” shirts before tip-off. This show of community support is truly heartwarming, and it highlights how sports can bring people together for a cause that transcends the game.
We continue to stand strong for Coach Taylor, keeping him in our thoughts as he faces this challenging journey.
Earlier this season, Coach Evan Taylor (Class of 2009) was diagnosed with lymphoma and has been undergoing chemotherapy for over a month. In response, all 12 Hockomock boys basketball teams participated in “Taylor Tough” Night on January 3rd, wearing warmup shirts to raise funds and support Coach Taylor’s battle.
