The annual youth clinic organized by the girls varsity soccer team draws approximately 30 girls ranging from 3rd to 8th grade in Chelmsford.
This clinic, lasting three hours, not only keeps these young players engaged in soccer but also encourages many of them to attend our high school games. It serves as an excellent opportunity for our team to connect with the community.
The breast cancer awareness game, played against Westford, holds special significance for our team because their coach, Tracy Capone, once served as Coach Kristina Kea’s high school soccer coach at WA.
Tracy’s recent battle with breast cancer served as an inspiration for the team to come together and host this game. Parents and players from our team pitched in to decorate the stadium, create bracelets and cards, and prepare items for a bake sale.
This collective effort culminated in a generous $672 donation to The Ellie Fund.
