About:

As seen on the flyer, the drive is to benefit the clients of En Ka Pantry, which opened in Winchester in August 2020.  It has been an exciting year, and we have been delighted by the reaction and support the new pantry has received from the community.  We are also continually humbled to witness the need for assistance that exists in our town.
We are always in need of support in the form of food donations, and several people had suggested a food drive at a WHS football game.  We are extremely grateful that Marc Arria and Winchester Athletics enthusiastically agreed to let us give it a try this Friday.

I have been in touch with one of the cheer parents, who has let me know that the squad will be available if needed to help our pantry volunteers collect donations at the game entrance and at the concession stand.

Both football players and cheer leaders help us spread the word on social media.  The students are also on board to help with any packing, loading, and unpacking what we collect.

thanks to strong support from the Athletics Department, the student athletes and their families, and the community, our En Ka Pantry food drive last Friday night was a big success!
