About:
The Woburn High School Volleyball team is showing that their influence goes far beyond the court. On September 26, the team hosted their Breast Cancer Awareness game at home against Marblehead, inviting the community to come together and support a meaningful cause.
This special event gave players, families, and fans the opportunity to raise awareness for breast cancer while demonstrating the power of athletics as a platform for giving back. By uniting as a team and engaging the community, the Woburn volleyball program exemplified how student-athletes can make a tangible difference while competing in the sport they love.
Thanks to the dedication of the team and support from the community, they raised $2,433 to donate to the local breast cancer organization, Tanner Tatas. Pictured here is team captain Lauren Snyder presenting the check to the organization, highlighting the impact student-athletes can have both on and off the court.
