DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy College Department of Athletics raised $233.00 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of an annual East Coast Conference initiative this past year.
Mavericks student-athletes helped raise the funds by collecting donations in lieu of admission and running raffles during basketball games during the winter season.
Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories, on average, every 38 minutes.
