Embarking on a mission of compassion and community spirit, the sixth grade Advisory and Community Service Club at Malverne’s Howard T. Herber Middle School are holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive from Nov. 1- 20. The heartfelt initiative aims to benefit the I.N.N. in Hempstead, supporting their soup kitchen and food pantry.
This year, the focus is not just on gathering sustenance but fostering a sense of togetherness and shared responsibility. Students are encouraged to make a difference by bringing in their donations upon entry into the building, echoing the sentiment that every contribution, no matter how small, can have a meaningful impact.
