To spread some love on Valentine’s Day, students at Norman J. Levy Lakeside School donated and assembled cold cut sandwiches that were later distributed by The River Fund, a poverty center that connects those with food insecurity.
“You should know what a difference you are making because of you, people are going to have delicious food today,” teacher Melissa Robinson addressed the group.
The Lakeside PTA donated money to go toward the effort. In total, the classes donated 1,649 sandwiches, 250 bags of chips, 30 bags of Goldfish and 10 extra loaves of bread.
