Stewart Manor School honored the 20th anniversary of 9/11 with a virtual ceremony on Sept. 10.
During the ceremony, the sixth graders recited the Pledge of Allegiance outside by the school’s flagpole. The fifth graders, in conjunction with the ceremony, created handmade cards for local police officers and firefighters to thank them for their service. The letters are scheduled to be delivered during the first week of October.
