The W20 Foundation’s Team Up 4 Community Program would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in our 2022 L.I. Holiday Sports Heroes Challenge.
The work our youth athletes, teams, schools, and organizations are doing to make a difference in the lives of others is commendable! By showcasing this great work together we are assisting in inspiring others to give back and make a difference in their communities!
This Holiday Challenge recorded 17,197 athletes performing over 36,494 hours of community service! This is valued at an economic impact of $381,580 given back to our communities!

Westhampton Beach Golden Canes and Girls’ Volleyball
The WHB Golden Canes, the school’s childhood cancer awareness club, teamed up with the girls’ volleyball teams to raise awareness of childhood cancer in their community in their “Digging for Gold” event.

Lynbrook High School Football
The football team raised awareness and funds through a benefit game for Camp A.N.C.H.O.R. The Camp is a comprehensive, year-round program that serves thousands of children and adults with special needs who live in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County Long Island.

Bay Shore High School Athletes Helping Athletes
The AHA club is always ready to help their community when needed. They work with 7th and 8th-grade students by visiting the school to discuss important topics such as drugs, alcohol, cyberbullying, social media, and vaping. They have in the past assisted with 9th-grade orientation, the Color Run, Family Game Night, and much more.
