The W20 Foundation’s Team Up 4 Community Program proudly acknowledges and thanks everyone who participated in our 2024 L.I. Spring Sports Heroes Community Service Challenge.
The commitment and passion of our youth athletes, teams, schools, and organizations in transforming lives is nothing short of extraordinary! By highlighting these powerful acts of service, we inspire a wave of generosity and community spirit across our region.
This Spring Challenge was a resounding success, with 23,647 athletes dedicating over 85,310 hours to community service, generating an astounding economic impact of $720,870! Additionally, these athletes raised $290,390 for charitable causes, showcasing their dedication to making a tangible difference.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering commitment and incredible contributions. Together, we are changing lives and building stronger communities.
Middle Country Boys Lacrosse “Goals for Giving”
The 3rd Annual Goals for Giving Lacrosse game, involving Centereach, Newfield, and middle school, doubled funds raised for SEPTA and promoted inclusivity for the special needs community.

Lynbrook High School Kickline “Kicks for Cause”
The JV & Varsity Lynbrook Kickline team’s “Kicks for a Cure” campaign raised funds for Dancing Dreams, supporting children with medical or physical challenges, by selling bracelets and performing at games and clinics.

As a dedicated student-athlete, Kangxi started a badminton program to spark interest in the sport among local children, leading to enthusiastic participation and immense pride in their community.
