MSHSL COMMUNITY SERVICE CHALLENGE
2025-2026
THE CHALLENGE
During the 2025-2026 academic year, the MSHSL (Minnesota State High School League) collaborated with the W20 Foundation’s Project Team Up 4 Community to promote community involvement among young athletes through the MSHSL Community Service Challenge!
By utilizing the Team Up for Community portal, schools were given the opportunity to highlight their community service initiatives, which aimed to cultivate a sense of civic engagement and community among youth while assisting them in attaining their educational, personal, and social objectives. Following the culmination of each sports season, MSHSL recognized the Community Service Challenge Champions for the seventh consecutive year.
Throughout the school year, a total of 209 projects were submitted, with 13,281 student-athletes actively participating in various community service endeavors. In aggregate, these individuals dedicated 109,261 hours of their time and raised $440,960 for charitable causes.
